Hosted by Davey’s Bay Yacht Club (DBYC)and organised by our Immediate past President “Cam Taylor” is a new Flying Fifteen Performance Program July-Oct 2026.
This has generated lots of interest with close to 20+ participants each session. Some who have never sailed a Flying Fifteen before coming together with DBYC regulars of limited experience and those with many years sharing their experiences and wisdom.

With a secondDBYC Flying Fifteen club boat currently being put back together following a new paint job and repairing of the rusty keel, there are more opportunities for members to join the Flying Fifteen fleet.

The first 3 sessions, one each month in July, August and September were all about introductions and getting to know the fleet; Tuning controls, Setup and Tips; Rig measurements & Tuning. In October the focus is more on water with Coaching, Boat Speed and Practice Racing. Click here to view Session 4 flyer.

The aim is simple: introduce more people to the class, help existing sailors improve, Learn Together, Tune Together. Sail Together. Race Together. Grow the Victorian Flying Fifteen community and fleet together.
