Hosted by Davey’s Bay Yacht Club (DBYC)and organised by our Immediate past President “Cam Taylor” is a new Flying Fifteen Performance Program July-Oct 2026
where “Everyone is Welcome”. From another class or never sailed a Flying Fifteen or simply curious to know what all the fuss is about, NO problem.
You don't need to own a boat and you don't need to be a FFIV member to join us.
We'll match you with experienced skippers and crews so you can experience one of the world's most enjoyable racing keelboats in a friendly, supportive environment.
It's the perfect opportunity to discover why Flying Fifteens have been bringing sailors together for over 75 years.
Session 1 – Sunday 19th July: Soup & a Sip; Meet & Greet; Get to know the fleet.
Session 2 – Sunday 16th Aug: Understanding your ff; Tuning; controls; Setup; Tips
Session 3 – Sunday 20th Sept: Boatyard Workshop; Rig measurements & Tuning
Session 4 – Sundays in Oct: 4, 11, 18 & 25 dates TBC (Sir John Madden Sprint Series);
Tune, Test & Perform; On Water Coaching, Boat Speed, Practice Racing.
Our aim is simple: introduce more people to the class, help existing sailors improve, Learn Together, Tune Together. Sail Together. Race Together. Grow the Victorian Flying Fifteen community and fleet together.
