·      Ossie McCutcheon Trophy Back Up Date 26^th Oct implemented

for 2025-2026 FFI-V Season

·      FFI-V Membership Renewal is now due for 2025-2026 season

The Ossie McCutcheon Trophy racing will now be held on 26^th October 2025 with the Back Up Date, see original Notice of Race (click on this link) being implemented due to cancellation of all racing at Davey’s Bay Yacht Clubon 19^th October.

Online entry deadline has been extended till 6:00pm on Saturday 25^th Oct. However, you can still enter at the club up till 12:00 noon on race day.

You will still need to renew your FFI-V membership to be counted in the results. Your entry fee of $20- per boat will be going directly to after racing drinks and snacks (with sausage sizzle being proposed) and Prizes.

Some onshore rigging and boat tuning in the DBYC boat park was held on the morning of 19^th Oct. With the take-out lessons being to recognise the different side stay locations (fore and aft) relative to the mast. Plus being made aware that a hand-held Loos stay tension gauge has different readings to the Spring held Loos gauge.

For Online renewal you will need to use your Australian Sailing number
as previously advised to FFI-V.

I am going to attempt to send out invoices for membership renewal as some have asked for this to make it easier. No deadline on when this will happen.
